A Human Document: Selections from the Sackner Archive of Concrete and Visual Poetry, continues until May 25, 2014 at the acclaimed Pérez Art Museum Miami (formerly the Miami Art Museum). Plan your visit here.
Curated by René Morales the exhibition is accompanied by this beautifully produced book available to purchase from the PAMM bookshop.
For those of you who can be anywhere near 87 Marshall Street, North Adams, Massachusetts this weekend, do get along to see Life's Work, at MassMoCA before it closes on Sunday.
In Life's Work, curator Denise Markonish has assembled a fascinating display about artists who have projects that continue over decades. The exhibition features at it's heart, A Humument, Tom Phillips's treated Victorian novel. Pages from the original novel (A Human Document by W.H. Mallock), published 1892, are shown alongside over 700 pages treated by Phillips with gouache, collage, cut up, etc., from the earliest created in 1966 to the most recent, completed in the past few months. A unique opportunity to see in its entirety, a work spanning nearly 50 years. Don't miss your chance.
Check your pockets, this Tom Phillips designed fifty pence coin commemorating the centenary of the birth of Benjamin Britten is now in circulation in the UK.
