News and updates about Tom Phillips, posted by the artist himself
A feast of Tom Phillips's music – compositions by him including his own graphic scores, pieces which inspired him, and music that he loved including songs by Schubert and Schumann – is to be staged in a one-hour event as part of the Oxford International Song Festival this autumn.
The programme will be performed by three outstanding players, former Oxford Song Young Artist Lotte Betts-Dean (mezzo-soprano), pianist Joanna MacGregor and actor Samuel West who joins them to read extracts from Tom Phillips’s writings.
