The end of the circuit meets up with its beginning since this last site is within a few yards of the Marlborough Public House.

It was chosen because it incorporates, in a distant view of the factory of Samuel Jones (the makers of Butterfly Brand sticky tape which I used to use constantly), their emblem, the Camberwell Beauty in the form of a large tiled picture of the famous butterfly.

The ceramic mural is taken down in 1981 (to be re-erected on the main Public Library) and the building itself is destroyed in 1983. In 1988 this is the only site to evidence the fierce hurricane that decimated London's tree population.

Apart from some nerve-wracking encounters with dogs this site acts as an elegiac ending to 20 Sites. In the railed garden of the flats a gate is sometimes open sometimes shut ...
