John Nick Pull envisioned and implemented the first fully comprehensive website of Tom Phillips's works and texts. He met Tom Phillips in 1993 when John curated the Harvard exhibition accompanying Tom's visiting professorship at the University's Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts. At Tom's invitation he worked first as a page editor and designer during the residency, then as a visiting archivist at the London studio, and in 1997 John launched tomphillips.co.uk.  Initially in a magazine format, the site soon expanded into a richly detailed online resource comprising images, interviews, multimedia, and interactive presentations. John also took over the original Humument site adding all the Tetrad Press pages, and created 57talfourd.com the first version of the Tom Phillips shop.
