Set against a background referring to the silver screen, Dante's emblematic vision is expressed through an image from cinema which has re-realised archetypes so well for the modern age. The single figure of Fay Wray is doctored to make a pair, the two poets Dante and Virgil, who are similarly carried in the hand of the giant Antaeus.
