The Minotaur, symbolising violence against nature, is shown taking his first shambling steps from the womb of his mother Pasiphaë who recoils in horror at the offspring of her coupling with the bull. The picture of this scarce-formed creature is made up of about 200 fragments of The Boy's Own Paper and London Illustrated News.
